Nevermind that fact that some artists have won World of Warcraft comic contest honorable mentions at least twice and carried away a win. I'll admit that my art style isn't very "good". But what is this bullshit that I'm seeing?

That's right. Out of all the submissions that the contest gets, they are all apparently so horrible that they have to resort to STAR TREK jokes instead of recycling the same artists over and over. Tell me if I'm wrong, but anyone reading these comics for the WORLD OF WARCRAFT comic contest should be able to get the joke if they've PLAYED THE GAME. I've played the game for a damn long time and I had to ask a friend what the hell the joke was here.
Turns out, THE JOKE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WORLD OF WARCRAFT. His comment, verbatim:
"In star trek the ensign with the red tunic that was in the landing party always died. So he was like ahh crap cause he had the red shirt.."
I'm sorry, but I abhor Star Trek and everything it stands for. Since I've never watched the show, I couldn't get the joke. The only thing that it has to do with World of Warcraft is that it has WoW characters in it.
